We offers a variety of scholarships and fellowships designed to help you and your family pay for student education. Scholarships and grants are types of gift aid that do not have to be repaid. They may take the form of school scholarships, federal or state grants, or outside scholarships.

Scholarships Sources

Post Matric Minorities

The scholarship is to be awarded for studies in India in a government or private higher secondary school/college/university, including such residential institutes of the Government and eligible private institutes selected and notified in a transparent manner by the State Government/Union Territory Administration concerned. It will also cover technical and vocational courses in Industrial Training Institutes/ Industrial Training Centres affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) of classes XI
and XII level including Polytechnics and other courses (any course of less than one year duration is not covered under this scheme; Certificate courses are also not covered).

Post Matric SCs

These scholarships are available for studies in India only and the awardees are selected by the State Government/Union Territory to which the applicant actually belongs (i.e the State/UT in which permanently settled or domiciled, as per the terms of domicile decided by the State). This is applicable to all the students who are currently beneficiaries of the scheme as well as fresh admissions. This scheme is to appreciably increase the Gross Enrolment Ratio of SC students in higher education with a focus on those from the poorest households, by providing financial assistance at post-matriculation or post-secondary stage to enable them to complete their education.

Post Matric OBCs

The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the OBC students studying at post-matriculation or post-secondary stage to enable them to complete their education. Employed students whose income combined with the income of their parents/guardians does not exceed Rs. 1.00 lakh per annum shall be eligible for post-matric scholarships to the extent of reimbursement of all compulsorily payable non-refundable fees. In case
of unemployed students whose parents/guardians income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 1.00 lakh per annum will be entitled for the scholarship under the Scheme.

Scholarship For Students

The government of Punjab offers various scholarships to the students of the Punjab state. These Punjab government scholarships are made available on the official website. The best part of Punjab Scholarships is students of class 1 to 12, UG, PG can easily apply for this. Also, various pre and post matric Punjab government scholarships are available for SC, OBC,and other minorities. There is no fee for the Scholarship. Students need to submit some vital documents and submit the Punjab Scholarship form online through portal or their respective schools.

Punjab scholarship last date will fall in the month of October/November. Students need to fill the Punjab scholarship form before the last to avoid any inconvenience. After the verification of the submitted documents the Punjab scholarship amount will be credited to the students’ account
